What is an AI interactive story generator?
It is a tool that creates a story you can influence while it unfolds. With CineFate, you provide a scenario and a fictional opening image, watch the result as AI-generated video, and choose between two continuations at each decision point.
Does CineFate generate text or video?
Video. Text helps define the premise and choices, but the story itself plays as photorealistic AI-generated scenes rather than a text adventure or a finished clip with no interaction.
How do the choices work?
While the current scene plays, CineFate prepares two meaningfully different continuations. You select one, and that scene becomes part of your story. The story's later choices continue from the events you actually selected. After you confirm the choice, the generated path you did not select is deleted.
What kind of opening image can I use?
Use an image of a fictional character you created, generated, commissioned, or otherwise have the right to use. It must be SFW. Do not upload celebrities, other identifiable real people, or copyrighted characters you do not control.
How long does a choice take to generate?
While the current scene plays, CineFate already prepares both continuations, so they are normally ready when the story reaches its decision. If your chosen path is still generating, the page tells you plainly and your story stays safe.
Do I need an account, and what does it cost?
Yes. Verify your email before generation begins; your story and opening image stay in place through sign-up. Your account includes the opening and your first real choice. At the next decision point, one Story Step creates two continuations for you to choose from and watch. Story Steps come in one-time credit packs, and the required Story Step is shown before the next pair begins generating. If moderation rejects an input or generation fails before producing a paid Story Step, those credits are not consumed.
How long can my story continue?
There is no fixed run length or forced ending. Continue the same story while you have Story Step credits. If you stop or run out, the story pauses at its current path so you can return later. CineFate does not sell or promise unlimited generation.
How long do you keep my story and opening image?
They stay in your account until you delete the story. Deleting a story removes its opening image, story state, and generated video; deleting your account removes all of your stories and images. Your image is not automatically reused in another story.
Is my opening image used for training or other users?
No. Your image is used for your story, not for model training or another user's story.
