Overview

CineFate is an AI interactive story generator: you write a short premise, add one fictional opening image, and play an ongoing photorealistic AI-generated video story shaped by your choices. This policy explains what we process, why, and for how long.

Account Information

Creating a story requires an account with a verified email address. We store your email, password credentials handled by our authentication provider, and basic account records needed to operate the service. We do not allow anonymous generation.

Story Premises, Opening Images, And Story Records

We store the premise you write, the opening image you upload, and your story record — the selected path, generated scenes, and continuation state — so you can return and resume the same story.

Rules for opening images:

• Upload only images of fictional characters you created, generated, commissioned, or otherwise have the right to use, and only content that is safe for work.
• Your opening image belongs to your story. It is used only for that story, is not used to train AI models, is not used for another user’s story, and is not automatically reused in a new story.
• We do not accept images of celebrities, other identifiable real people, or copyrighted characters you do not control. Text and opening-image moderation fails closed: rejected inputs never consume generation credits.

Retention And Deletion

Your story and its opening image remain in your account until you delete the story. Deleting a story removes its opening image, story state, and generated video. Deleting your account removes all of your stories and images. After you confirm a choice, the generated continuation you did not select is deleted and never becomes part of your story.

AI Providers

Premises, bounded instructions, and the opening image are sent server-to-server to configured AI providers only to create the requested story scenes. Provider processing is subject to the provider’s security and retention controls.

Payments

Paid features use one-time Story Step credit packs. Payment details are processed by third-party payment providers; we do not store full card numbers. Transaction records are retained as needed for accounting, fraud prevention, refunds, and support.

Analytics, Cookies, And Abuse Prevention

We collect basic page and product events to understand reliability and usage. Cloudflare Turnstile, email verification, and rate-limit signals help prevent abuse and may process IP address, browser, device, and challenge data.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. Limited data is shared only with infrastructure, AI, payment, email, analytics, and security providers needed to operate the service, or when legally required.

Security And Choices

We use encrypted transport, access controls, and scoped storage. No internet service can guarantee perfect security. You may request access, correction, or deletion of retained personal information by contacting us; some payment or legal records may need to be retained.
